“ A very pleasing, varied, organized buffet with a main daily meat dish that changes (example: Pork Chop Tuesday). In addition to the changing main meat there is a very good fried chicken and an excellent baked chicken and a mystery dish or two in gravy. There is about a half dozen or so of vegetables: collards, green beans, butter beans, rice, carrots to name some along with seriously good mashed potatoes. Fluffy biscuits and a mildly sweet white corn bread round it off. A decent size salad bar while good and varied, not something to hunger after. The dessert area probably could be skipped and go for some extra mashed potatoes and a little country gravy. The price can't be beat for lunch. 12.00 including tea. I would go back and buy the baked chicken and mashed potatoes (5.99 lb). Last but not least, every one in there works their butts off keeping tables cleaned, drinks brought and buffet replenished. Not an easy feat considering the large lunch clientele this draws. But never once did we feel crowded or rushed. ”

“ They recently relocated from a smaller location to an old Ryan's building. The location feels like a Ryan's but the food is much different. The food is the same as it was at the old location. Great southern food. The fried shrimp are the best I've ever had. The buffet has the classic staples of southern food: macaroni and cheese, grits, greens, fried chicken, hot wings and many others. My kids request the restaurant constantly. The desserts include an orange cake or citrus cake that is mind blowing. You must try it out and try the shrimp and orange cake. ”
